Reports from the North West have claimed that Blackpool are considering a move for their former midfielder David Fox. The 27 old first joined Blackpool in 2006 where he made 94 appearances for the club scoring six goals in the process.
With the likelyhood of their current midfielder Charlie Adam heading to pastures new in the summer it is believed that should Blackpool remain in the Premiership for next season then Holloway will use the cash to strengthen the squad rather than bring in a like for like replacement.
Fox currently plays for Norwich City and has helped his side to an impressive second in the Championship so far this season and with the player having family ties at Blackpool – with his father Peter being the current goalkeeping coach – a move this summer may well be on the cards.
Whilst his return may not mean the licking of lips from the fans it is certain that his return will only be one of several in what should be an interesting summer transfer spree for the Seasiders.
