Bradford duo face the chopping block

Lewis Hunt and Robert Threlfall have been told by Bradford City manager, Peter Jackson, that they are not a part of his plans for the coming season.

Jackson is aware that if any future talent is to be brought into the club, they must first get rid of some of their current playing staff who perhaps aren’t pulling their weight.

Jackson spoke to the Bradford Telegraph, stating: “We’ve said to them that they can go if they find a club, but it’s extremely hard to do that because there are a lot of players out there.”

Jackson is all but too aware of the club’s financials, adding: “It’s important that we try to get some out with the budget as tight as it is. We’re looking to maybe bring more in but obviously we’ve got to get them out first.”
