Chelsea Birmingham Odds : Betting on FA Cup comes to Stamford Bridge as Blues take all the money

Birmingham will be looking to pounce on a battered and bruised Chelsea side when they travel to Stamford Bridge for their FA Cup 5th round tie.

Chelsea have embarked on a woeful run of form in the Premier League that has seen them pick up just two wins from their last ten games, which has seen them drop out of the top four for the first time since October.

Boss Andre Villas-Boas has once more had to tolerate media speculation that his time in west London may be curtailed after owner Roman Abramovich became an increased presence at Chelsea’s Cobham training ground.

The 34-year-old was also forced to haul his players in to training on Sunday to dissect their 2-0 defeat against Everton on Saturday – a performance Villas-Boas described as the ‘worst’ he had seen during his time at the club.

The Blues will be able to call upon the services of Didier Drogba and Salomon Kalou after the duo returned from international duty with the Ivory Coast, with Drogba likely to step straight back into the line-up after Fernando Torres failed to find the back of the net during the Ivorian’s absence.

Frank Lampard made his return to action in the defeat against Everton and is likely to feature at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, but John Terry is unlikely to feature as he continues his rehabilitation from a minor calf tear.

In contrast to Chelsea’s recent woes, Birmingham are flying high in the Championship, with Chris Houghton guiding his side to 5th place after a run of six wins and four draws in their last ten games.

With the Midlands outfit also enjoying a European campaign this season thanks to their Carling Cup success last season, they’ll be confident that they still have it in them to recreate the performance that helped them secure a 1-0 win over Chelsea at St. Andrews last season.
