Our football transfer gossip section is back and there has been so much going on over the last few weeks it’s quite difficult knowing where to begin. Here we are not even in December and already players have been linked here, there and everywhere!
Whilst a lot of the transfer gossip is merely repeats of those we had heard about in the summer, certain scouting expeditions by many teams have not gone unnoticed and there are plenty of new young players whose names would not have been on the tip of our tongues.
Nonetheless here is a compilation of today’s football transfer gossip for the 25th October.
Newcastle United are one club showing interest in CSKA Moscow striker, Seydou Doumbia.
Inter Milan could be prepared to offer Brazilian defender Maicon if it means they can land Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez in return.
Arsenal are considering a move for Aston Villa midfielder Barry Bannan in January.
QPR defender Anton Ferdinand will discuss the recent racism issue regarding Chelsea’s John Terry today before making a decision as to whether to proceed with the allegations.

The Manchester City bench for the Champions League match against Bayern Munich have all claimed that Tevez did not say he refused to warm up or play against the Germany giants.
Liverpool have joined the race against Arsenal to sign Ajax captain Jan Vertoghen.
Ghana full-back Samuel Inkoom has claimed that Liverpool are after his signature and that a move is planned to bring him to Anfield in January.
