Lanzarote Hurdle Live Streaming : Bears Affair, Black Thunder, Oscara Dara battle it out at Kempton

The Lanzarote Hurdle is the featured race at Kempton, with Bet365 offering the latest horse racing odds, and a live stream of the race as Bears Affair, Black Thunder & Oscara Dara head the tips for market supremacy.

The ultra-competitive handicap hurdle is regarded as one of the trickiest races of the season but this season’s renewal could be simpler to work out than in recent years.

Like many of the big races on Saturday, the battle between Nicky Henderson and Paul Nicholls looks set to be played out again as they look to have the two leading contenders for the race.

Henderson has the potentially top-class Bear’s Affair and Nicholls is ready to unleash youngster Black Thunder, who has yet to win yet this season but looks on a very winnable mark.

The Henderson runner is being preferred by the markets and he can be backed around the 5/1 mark with Bet365, who are the recommended betting source for any punters wishing to dabble on the terrestrial covered Saturday racing.

Back any single winner at 4/1 or more on a bet365 televised race and you can have a free bet to the same stake on the next Channel 4 race. The offer is available is open to punters of two specific races each day but it is seen at its most popular when a big meeting is being covered on Channel 4.

So, this means if you back Bear’s Affair and it runs out a winner, you are eligible for a free bet to the same stake for the next televised race. But the big question is – whether the Henderson runner can justify his position at the head of the market? He certainly has plenty of things in his favour.

Since switching from fences in March, the seven-year-old is unbeaten over hurdles. He burst onto the scene when winning over the course and distance at Kempton when an unfancied 12/1 shot.

He was then off the track until December where he returned with the look of a very good horse with a 10 length thrashing of Merrydown at Aintree. It is perhaps a tad surprising to see him still going down the handicap route rather than take in a Graded race but Henderson obviously believes the horse can still be competitive off 12lbs higher than his Aintree win.

It seems as though punters have their doubts though and all the smart money seems to be for Black Thunder at 8/1 with Bet365, who Nicholls has high hopes for progressing through the ranks this season.

He was a very good juvenile hurdler last season but missed the Triumph to take in a race at Chepstow, which he won in good style. Things haven’t gone completely to plan this term as he has been beaten on both his starts but there have been legitimate excuses as he pulled too hard at Kempton and was given too much to do by the usually reliable Ruby Walsh at Haydock.

He was finishing like a train that day and looks to very capable of winning off a mark of 145. He looks a solid each-way at 8/1.

The Grade 3 Betfred Classic Chase at Warwick is another big race on Saturday and could provide good clues for the Grand National at Aintree later this season.

Trainer Alan King has a fabulous record at Warwick and has won this race twice in recent years – Godsmejudge could make it three if he continues his progression.

The 10/1 shot with Bet365 looks a through stayer in the making and caught the eye with his win at Folkestone last time out.

He will be making his handicap debut here, which makes him hard to assess, but surely King will be hoping he’s good enough to win off a potentially lenient mark of 128.
