Liverpool misfit to become subject of Sunderland bid
Taking advantage of the player’s recent lack of involvement in the Liverpool first team, Sunderland are ready to offer £3m for the services of Fabio Aurelio.
The Brazilian could barely be said to have featured at all this term, having only made one FA Cup appearance all season.
It’s no surprise that the Brazilian has seen so little football with summer signing, Jose Enrique, to compete with for the left-back spot.

Injuries to Andre Santos and the ongoing recovery of Kieran Gibbs mean that the Gunners are without a recognised left-back, and are sadi to be looking at Richardson as reinforcements.
Aurelio has shown in the past that he has the potential to perform well on a Premier League level, and has been unfortunate to find himself on the outskirts of the Merseysiders squad.
At £3m, O’ Neill is sure to face competition for the signature of the 29 year-old as he seeks to find a new starting left-back.
