Man City Outright Winner odds as Bet365 report new free bets offer

Premiership champions Manchetser City will once again be looking to go close as Bet365 release a new free bets offer on the football, as the firm report plenty of money has come in for the Citizens to once again lift the trophy.

Manchester City go into the 2014/15 season confident they can defend their Premier League title.

Manuel Pellegrini lifted the Premier League in his first season at the club, as well as the Capital One Cup in an excellent season for the Blues.

Yaya Toure was one of the main catalysts behind City’s title success last season and supporters will be glad the midfielder is staying.

After hinting he wanted to leave the Etihad stadium, Toure in recent weeks has pledged his long term future to the club.

Bacary Sagna is the latest Arsenal player to leave the club for Manchester City and will compete with Pablo Zabaleta for the right-back birth.

Elsewhere City signed Fernando from Porto, whilst Pellegrini has been re-united with goalkeeper Willy Caballero, whom he managed at Malaga.

Pellegrini has also hinted that he would like to add another defender, with Joleon Lescott leaving the club.

Lescott left on a free transfer for West Brom, whilst Costel Pantilimon and Gareth Barry also joined Premier League rivals.

Ins – Bacary Sagna (Arsenal), Fernando (Porto), Willy Caballero (Malaga)

Outs – Costel Pantilimon (Sunderland), Joleon Lescott (West Brom), Alex Nimley (Released), Marcos Lopes (Lille), Gareth Barry (Everton)

Fixture list

Pellegrini’s side will face the three sides that finished directly below them inside of the first five games this season.

They start away to Newcastle United, however Liverpool and Chelsea travel to the Etihad Stadium before October.

The game all Blues look out for is on the 2nd November, as they welcome their city rivals Manchester United, attempting to repeat last season’s result!

First five games: Newcastle (A), Liverpool (H), Stoke (H), Arsenal (A), Chelsea (H)

Key player: Sergio Aguero

Sergio Aguero has struggled with injuries for the majority of his career and last season was no different.

The Argentine was restricted to just 23 league games as City won the league, however he still managed 17 goals!

Should Aguero remain fit this year, City will move ahead of Chelsea as favourites for the league given the ability of the 26-year-old.

Manchester City fans would trade domestic success to have it in Europe this campaign after two league titles in three years.

Should they fail in the Champions League, then only the Premier League title will do, given the value of their squad.

Premier League success in 2012 was followed up by a poor season, something Pellegrini will be desperate to avoid this time around.
