Manchester United and Chelsea eyeing Serbian playmaker

Krasic is keen on a move to the PremiershipManchester United and Chelsea are thought to be keeping a close eye on Juventus playmaker Milos Krasic with both sides considering the 27 year old to be a cheaper alternative to Luku Modric.

The Tottenham Hotspur midfielder was looking to be a dead cert to leave the club last summer to either Manchester United or Chelsea however the White Hart Lane side stood firm and it is believed that Modric will now remain in North London for the forseeable future.

Despite being slightly older Krasic still holds key attributes that Sir Alex Ferguson and Andre Villas Boas have obviously pinpointed as something that is required at their respective clubs. Juventus though will not be keen to let the Serbian international leave after acquiring his services only last year when he joined from CSKA Moscow.

Krasic has already received comparisons with Pavel Nedved and was sold to the Italian side for a fee around €15m however should Chelsea and Manchester United’s interest remain serious, then a bid of at least £25m would be required for Juventus to even consider allowing him to head to the Premier League, despite his agent recently suggesting that the Premiership would interest his client.
