Manchester United sound out Real Madrid star

According to reports in England and Spain, Manchester United are all geared up to launch an audacious bid for the acquisition of Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale who only signed for the Galacticos last year from Tottenham Hotspur.

The Welsh international has reportedly grown tired of playing second fiddle to Cristiano Ronaldo at the Santiago Bernebeu and is keen on listening to offers that may come during the January transfer window. And reports further claim that Manchester United’s representatives have already spoken with Bale and let him know that the former Southampton man can win everything club football can offer at Old Trafford.

Last summer, Manchester United did try to woo away the Wales international but the player chose to stay in the Spanish capital following a stellar first season under Carlo Ancelotti. However, it appears that the tables have turned quite a lot in recent weeks with Bale reportedly unhappy with his current status at Madrid.

Bale believes that the presence of Ronaldo will never really allow him to realize his full potential in Spain and would welcome a new challenge should a suitor come up with enough money to convince Madrid into parting ways with a player they signed for such a huge amount of money.
