Stoke Bolton Odds : Coyle fighting for Premiership survival at Potteries
May 12, 2012 · 0 Comments
Stoke and Bolton go head to head at the Britannia Stadium in what is a massive game for the away side in their battle for survival, as Bet365 make Owen Coyle’s side 15/8 to take all three points at Tony Pulis’s stubborn looking side.
Looking at the hosts to begin with, Stoke suffered a last gasp defeat at Queens Park Rangers last time out.
This was a result that didn’t mean too much to them in terms of league position, however it would have hurt Tony Pulis and his team.
Pulis’ men have now won just one game of their previous eleven matches in the Premier League and it looks as if their extremely long season is starting to take its toll on the team.
The Stoke boss will be desperate for his men to finish the campaign on a high though, especially in front of their own fans.
The Potters have now drawn their last two matches on home soil against Everton and Arsenal so the performances have been decent. Now though, they will want maximum points.

As for Bolton, this is a massive match in the club’s history. They have one objective and one objective only – to win.
Coyle’s men have to take all three points here and hope that Manchester City beat QPR. Should this happen, Wanderers will remain in the top flight for another year.
The Whites seemed to have a win sealed when they were 2-0 up over West Brom last time out. However, the Baggies hit back with two late goals which put a massive dent in Bolton’s survival hopes.
The Trotters will go into the match with some confidence as they have taken 19 points from their total of 36 on the road. They have also won six times on their travels this campaign so are by no means poor away from home.
Wigan went to the Britannia Stadium and won last season to stay in the Premier League, so Bolton will know they still have hope.
It it set to be a tense afternoon and it all gets underway from 3pm.
