West Ham v Tottenham odds, free bets – Spurs value at 11/10?

Latest West Ham v Tottenham odds, betting news and free bets as Spurs look cracking value at 11/10 with Paddy Power to take all three points.

West Ham take on their London rivals Tottenham in the pairs Premier League opening match on Saturday.

Mauricio Pochettino takes charge of Spurs for the first time, having been chosen as Tim Sherwood’s successor earlier in the summer.

West Ham reportedly came close to dismissing Sam Allardyce after the previous campaign, however decided to stick with the former Bolton manager.

The Hammers have made six summer signings to date, with the arrival of Ecuadorian forward Enner Valencia the stand out purchase.

With Andy Carroll out until December, Valencia will need to hit the ground running for West Ham, who flirted with relegation last season.

Spurs themselves have added just three players to date, with two coming from Swansea City in the form of Michel Vorm and Ben Davies.

So far the club have kept ahold of their big name players, despite Christian Eriksen, Jan Vertonghen and Erik Lamela being linked with moves.

West Ham beat Tottenham three times last season, in an incredible string of results and performances.

A famous 3-0 win at White Hart Lane was followed up by a Capital One Cup win and an easy 2-0 victory at Upton Park.

Team news

Two of West Ham’s summer signings in Aaron Cresswell and Cheikhou Kouyate look set to make their league bows for the club.

Valencia’s debut may be off the bench, after his transfer was delayed, having struggled to gain a work permit for the forward.

Carlton Cole will start ahead of the Ecuador international, although Mauro Zarate will be hopeful starting from the off.

Mohammed Diame looks set to start, despite being heavily linked with a move to Queens Park Rangers in recent days.

Tottenham look set to be without Paulinho, who has only recently returned to training, after a long 2014 World Cup.

Vertonghen looks set to partner either Younes Kaboul or Vlad Chiriches in the heart of Spurs’s defence.

Davies will be hoping to oust Danny Rose from left full-back, although Vorm will struggle to do the same against Hugo Lloris.

Emmanuel Adebayor will start ahead of Roberto Soldado, despite a bout of malaria over the summer, that effected his pre-season.

West Ham (4-5-1): Adrian, Demel, Collins, Reid, Cresswell, Downing, Noble, Nolan, Kouyate, Diame, Cole

Tottenham (4-2-3-1): Lloris, Walker, Chiriches, Vertonghen, Davies, Capoue, Dembele, Lennon, Lamela, Eriksen, Adebayor
