Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish has suggested his side have a good discipline record despite lying in 19th position of the Premier league’s discipline table after five games, six behind Arsenal who are in last place.
Whilst most cards were picked up in Sunday’s defeat against Tottenham Hotspur, Dalglish admits the player’s reactions to the sending off’s showed they are disciplined and that the tape of the game will be reviewed to see what can be improved upon.
Talking to Skysports the Liverpool manager said:
“We’ve got a good disciplinary record, we will look at the video, and if there is something wrong we can correct it. You never saw a mass of Liverpool players running to the referee to dispute a decision, so there is no discipline problem.”
