Vinni Dantas has completed his move to Tranmere after a short trial at Prenton Park.
The Brazilian scored twice in a friendly against Shrewsbury last week and Rovers manager, Les Parry, is hoping the 20 year-old will bring a touch of class to the League One outfit.
Parry told the Tranmere website: “Hopefully Vinni will sign on Monday, that will be subject to a work permit,”
However, 53 year-old Parry notes that a more experienced purchase is essential, adding: “That will be a great signing. Vinni is potentially a great player, but it is potential. We need to get someone more established too.”
