AC Milan eye Nasri as contract talks continue to stall

AC Milan are planning a transfer raid on Arsenal’s Samir Nasri as contract talks continue to stall.

The Frenchman had a superb first half of the season but is yet to sign any extension to his current deal which expires next summer and Arsenal would prefer to gain some financial reward for investing in him rather than let him move away for free at the end of next season.

Nasri, who turns 24 this June can play with both feet and AC Milan have let it be known that they are on the look out for a left side player and the Frenchman seems certain to fit the bill. Discussions between Nasri and Arsenal have been ongoing but nothing has been sealed yet meaning Wenger is running out of time to keep the attack minded midfielder.

AC Milan’s Adriano Galliani admitted recently “From here until 31st August, Milan will buy a player that will be a left midfielder,”

Whilst this could mean a host of left sided players to be included in the loop, the chance to hand Nasri over for free next season will be too painful for Arsenal to contemplate and if no new deal is confirmed soon then Wenger will look to cash in on Nasri who, it appears, is not too sure himself on what to do.
