Algeria v Russia odds, Live Stream and team news from World Cup

The side that progresses along with Belgium, is almost certain to come from the match with Algeria and Russia.

Algeria will realistically qualify with a point, unless South Korea stun Belgium, whilst Russia need a win to have any hope of qualification.

Algeria’s first half display against South Korea was superb and the African nation were 3-0 up going into the interval.

Yacine Brahimi then scored one of the goals of the tournament, finishing off a brilliant team goal, as the game ended 4-2 in Algeria’s favour.

Russia were better in their loss to Belgium then they were in the draw against South Korea and should have claimed a result.

A late goal from Divock Origi won the match for Belgium, with the strikers winner sending the much fancied nation through.

Thursday’s fixture will be the first international match between the two.

Team news
It will be hard for Algeria to change their starting XI after a brilliant showing on Sunday evening.

Islam Slimani will start after being one of the best performers in the side, whilst Spurs midfielder Nabil Bentaleb was excellent in midfield.

Fabio Capello could bring in Aleksander Kerzhakov in for Kokorin, who has been poor up front in both matches.

Igor Denisov is another who will be hoping to start the match, after impressive cameos so far in the tournament.
