Arsenal close in on Brazilian international
Arsene Wengeris poised to respond to Sunday’s humiliating defeat against Manchester United by signing defensive reinforcement in the form of left-back, Andre Santos.
Last night, the Gunners agreed a fee of £6.25m with Turkish club Fenerbahce for the services of the Brazilian international.
The 28 year-old will now fly to London to undergo a medical before completing his move to the North London outfit.
Arsenal are also understood to have launched a £7m bid for Santos’ international compatriot, Alex, however it’s thought that Chelsea want somewhere nearer to £10m for their centre-back.
