Arsenal scouts have been monitoring the situation of freshly-capped Argentina international, Lucas Biglia.
The midfielder has attracted the attention of several Premier League clubs and is ready for a fresh start, telling Belgian newspaper, Het Nieuwsblad: “I think I have ended my cycle at Anderlecht and I want to do something new,”
“The board know what I want to do. I know that playing for the Argentina national side means I get plenty of exposure and opens lots of doors,” he added.
After defensive midfielder, Denilson, completed a loan switch to Sao Paolo earlier this summer, Arsene Wenger will be keen to rebuff a midfield that could also soon see them lose their captain, Cesc Fabregas.
Biglia sounds keen enough to leave current club, Anderlecht, and the 25 year-old Argentine is thought to be available for around the £6m mark.
