Arsenal join race to sign Costa Rica striker
Reports suggest that Arsenal are ready to join Tottenham in the race to sign FC Twente’s Costa Rica international, Bryan Ruiz.
The forward has a buy-out clause in his contract of £13.75m and if he chose to join the Gunners, could line up against international compatriot, Joel Campbell.
Arsenal have been in negotiations with 19 year-old Campbell for some time and could snap up the youngster for as little as £1m.
25 year-old Ruiz has scored 33 goals in 61 appearances for the Dutch side, and is understood to be keen on a move to the Premier League.
