Arsenal willing to listen to serious offers of £25m plus for Samir Nasri

Wenger will allow Nasri to leave for a fee upwards of £25mArsenal are willing to listen to any offers of £25m plus for midfielder/playmaker Samir Nasri as talks continue to stall however the North London club will not sell to any Premiership side and will look to either Italy or Spain as a possible destination for the 23 year old.

Nasri’s contract talks have been going on for some time and for many connected it has been a case of will he – wont he with 12 months remaining on his current deal. Obviously Arsenal are not prepared to allow the Frenchman to depart to domestic competitors and will accept any bids from abroad at the £25m mark or above rather than risk him leaving for free at the end of the 2011/2012 Premiership campaign.

It is believed that an improved offer has been offered to Nasri to place him on wages “close” to the likes of Fabregas and van Persie and despite confirmation from management that quality players will be brought in, the player has declined to sign an extension at this point.

With talks considered as being moot between both parties, Arsenal are now ready to see who really are interested and will be happy to listen to respectful bids. There were also suggestions recently that Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich would be interested in Nasri as a long term replacement for Franck Ribery however that was not confirmed by our source.

Should Arsenal receive a bid of around £25m for the midfielder then both Arsene Wenger and the board will find it hard to refuse for a player that could now be deemed as a risk should he remain for one more year and not sign an extension next summer.
