Arsenal looking at deal for Real Madrid enforcer
Sources suggest that Arsenal are keeping tabs on Real Madrid defender, Raul Albiol, after it emerged he could be available for purchase.
Albiol has found first team football harder to come by of late, with Pepe, Ricardo Carvalho and Rafael Varane all proving to be hefty competition at the back.
Valencia are also looking to re-sign their former charge for a rumoured £8m, a fee that the Gunners could find tempting.
The 25 year-old would prove a more cost effective solution to Arsenal’s defensive woes, as Phil Jagielka, Gary Cahill and Christopher Samba all look to cost in excess of £15m.
The 25 year-old now has the choice of returning to his old stomping ground, the Mestalla, or beginning a new venture as a Gunner in the Premier League.
