Arsene Wenger refuses to rule out the permanent signature of Yossi Benayoun, who is currently enjoying a season-long loan at the club.
Benayoun joined the North London outfit in the final hour of the summer transfer window and claims he is very happy to be there.
The French boss said: “It’s too early to say at the moment [whether we will sign him], but I don’t rule it out.”
Benayoun has struggled with injury in his career, missing a massive portion of his only season at Chelsea last campaign, however the player debuted against Swansea on Saturday and started in the Champions League match against Borussia Dortmund midweek.
Wenger added: “Benayoun gives his best every time he plays and we think he can integrate well. He can play on both flanks. He can play in the middle, although I think he prefers to play on the wing. Overall he has shown on Tuesday night that he is completely physically fit again.”
