Arsenal midfielder wants to be where Jack Wilshere is
Arsenal’s young midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong has heaped praised on his midfield team mate Jack Wilshere by claiming that the 19 year old’s consistency is what makes him so special.
Wilshere has received glowing reviews from numerous managers in what has been a season that has highlighted the effect the youngster could have on the Gunners in the years to come.
Frimpong also suggests that there are many like Wilshere in the youth team set up but that they are yet to show true consistency.
“The thing that is different between Jack and most of the Arsenal Reserve players is that he is very consistent, you hardly ever see him have a bad game. We have got lots of players in the Reserves that are very good players, in my opinion even as good as Jack on their day. But they don’t have that day as often – that is where the difference is.”
The Ghanaian added.
“To get into the first team you have to be playing good all the time. We have to keep working hard if we want to get where Jack is. That is where we all want to be.”
This certainly shows that Arsenal will still be a team challenging for honours in the future and with quality like Wilshere coming through perhaps it is just a case of find the right one or two individuals to knit things together.
