Arsenal striker, Nicklas Bendtner, is suspected of being close to a move to Sporting Lisbon, after the forward was spotted in a Lisbon district after the North London club apparently accepted an undisclosed offer.
Bendtner has been expected to head for the Emirates exit for some time after becoming limited to a number of substitute appearances last season.
The Danish international was not a part of the Gunners’ tour of Asia and has been associated with a number of clubs.
Speaking to Metro about the possible transfers of Bendtner and teammate Manuel Almunia, boss Arsene Wenger said: ‘Both of them are possible departures,’
‘They are talking to other clubs at the moment. I cannot tell you which ones,’ the Frenchman added.
Despite his £12m valuation by his current club, the 23 year-old is expected to leave for somewhere closer to £9m.
