Arsenal ready to sign Fabregas replacement

Jadson looks to be on his way to ArsenalIt’s understood that Arsenal are on the verge of signing Shaktar Donetsk midfielder, Jadson, as a replacement for imminently departing Cesc Fabregas.

Jadson, who impressed during this year’s Copa America, is similar in style to Fabregas, however is three years his senior at 27, and won’t quite silence Arsenal critics in terms of Arsenal purchases, despite his £12m pricetag.

Samir Nasri is another midfielder on his way out of the Emirates Stadium, with the Independent reporting that the Frenchman is close to agreeing a £22m move to Manchester City, earning £165,000-a-week on a five year contract.

Jadson commented on the matter, saying:  “If everything goes to plan, I’ll have some news for everyone at the start of next week. Hope it works out.”

Arsenal are reported as being keen to get rid of star midfielders Fabregas and Nasri, so that they can get on with the business of bringing replacements to the club.
