Arsenal are preparing to launch another bid to sign Rennes defensive midfielder, Yann M’Vila, after a failed summer attempt.
The French international has attracted the attention of compatriot, Arsene Wenger, who is keen to bolster his midfield with a touch of tenacity.
The 21 year-old has racked up over 70 appearances for the Ligue 1 side, and the Gunners boss has made no secret of his desire to sign M’Vila.
Rennes are understood to be holding out for around £15m for their talisman, and the club still has funds to spend from the sales of Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri, so a January move is a definite possibility.
