Arsenal reviving interest in French starlet

Arsenal remain interested in making a move for Yann M’Vila, according to reports, and will consider a summer move for the star following reports that the North London side may received increased funds for transfers.

The French sensation has been linked with a move to the Premier League club for around two years now, but a purchase has so far failed to materialize with his current side, Rennes, remaining just as stern in their protection of their star.

M’vila has made 35 appearances for the Ligue 1 outfit this season and ahs been one of their most consistent formers of the season.

The 21 year-old has also made 17 appearances for the French national side since debuting in 2010 and will be expected to star for the nation at Euro 2012 later this year.

Arsenal have been priced out of several moves for big players in the past, sticking with the approach for cheaper players, looking to get the most from their penny.

However, the English side look to be faltering this season and Arsene Wenger may be forced to spend big at the end of this season if his team fail to make it into the Champions League places.

If M’Vila were to complete a transfer to the Premier League, his signature would be expected to cost in excess of £23m as Rennes seek to hold onto their talisman, however Wenger has stated his admiration for his countryman on more than one occasion and may be forced to splurge in hunt for his long-term target.
