Arsenal right back suggests they must be more “killer”

Sagna feels Arsenal have been far too nice this seasonArsenal’s French right back Bacary Sagna has admitted that the Emirates side are currently too nice and that they need to push other teams further.

The Gunners came unstuck yet again at the weekend, losing 3-1 to well drilled Stoke City with Sagna claiming the team needs to fight more.

“I think we are too nice, we have to fight a bit more, we have to push them as much as they push us and be a bit more ‘killer’. We are not defending as well as we have to and against big players like they (Stoke City) are it is very difficult.”

The defeat at the Britannia Stadium coupled with Manchester United’s victory over Chelsea on Sunday means Arsene Wenger and Sagna will need to wait at least another year before claiming any silverware and there is still the small possibility of losing their third spot to Manchester City who remain five points adrift but with a game in hand.
