Arsenal have reportedly entered the race to sign France’s latest starlet M’Baye Niang. The 16-year-old striker is already in Caen’s first team and has attracted interest from Tottenham, Liverpool, Real Madrid and Liverpool, according to the Daily Mail.
Niang can play as either an attacking midfielder or upfront, and has scored 3 goals in 7 appearances for the Ligue 1 side and is regarded as one of the hottest talents in Europe. The 6ft forward made his debut in April but his performances has led to Real Madrid making an enquiry for the player and are thought to have made an €11million offer but are ready to loan the player straight back to Caen as part of the deal. Madrid are trying to use their Director of Football Zinedine Zidane to lure the player to the Bernabeu.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is rumoured to be keen to bring Niang to the Emirates and speculation suggests that the Gunners have made an enquiry.
