The early kick-off in the Premier League this weekend sees Arsenal v Chelsea odds as Ladbrokes announce a new free bets offer and report plenty of money has come in for the Gunners at a value looking price of 5/4.
Both sides are currently unbeaten and looking as though they can make a genuine challenge for the title this campaign, so this clash at the Emirates Stadium in a London has all the potential to be a classic.
Looking at Arsenal (5/4 with Ladbrokes) to begin with, they have had a tough start to the season that has included trips to Liverpool and Manchester City – so Arsene Wenger will be delighted that his men have still not tasted defeat in the top flight.
The Gunners look to be a lot stronger at the back as they have conceded just two goals in their first five matches.
Super Saturday: Ladbrokes Free Bet Offer
Its a cracking weekend of football, as Ladbrokes celebrate with the announcement of a new free bets offer worth £50/€50 to all customers to spend on any match! They’ll also have their exclusive ‘Goal Rush’ coupon available! Claim here!
Steve Bould has been brought in to make sense of a brittle back four, and the ex centre back has done wonders at the club, with Per Mertesacker finally looking a world class defender, and with Thomas Vermaelen now fit after a virus and reliable Laurent Koscielny the Gunners suddenly look a very difficult unit to break down.
Going forward, they have started to really link up well with Lukas Podolski and Santi Cazorla impressing. Both are sure to be heavily involved on Saturday as the club puts the loss of Robin Van Persie behind them.
If the North London club can take all three points in this one, they will really show that they are a strong contender for the title this campaign and would move to within just a point of the top spot.
As for Chelsea (13/5 with Ladbrokes), much like Arsenal they have remained unbeaten so far but their four wins see them sit on top of the table at this early stage.
After starting the season flying, Roberto Di Matteo’s men have not been at their best in the last two encounters, but have fought hard to get results.
It was a late goal from Ashley Cole that gave the Blues a narrow 1-0 victory over Stoke City last weekend.
Di Matteo will know that if his side are on top of their game then they do have the ability to win this one – especially if the likes of Eden Hazard and Oscar feature and are in good form. Oscar seems to be settling into life well at Stamford Bridge and looks like a fantastic talent, while John Terry is available for selection as he has the ‘right to appeal’ following his four game ban.
It is all set for a superb match to kick-start the weekend’s action. Kick-off is at 12.45pm.
