First up, there is North London derby to look forward to, as Arsenal and Spurs lock horns at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday in what is the early kick-off in the Premier League.

This game has produced a number of classic encounters over recent years and many will remember the 5-2 win for the Gunners last. Arsenal will of course be looking for something similar on Saturday, whereas Spurs are out for revenge.

Super Saturday Football : Paddy Power Free Bet Offer

We’ve a cracking Saturday of football, kicking off with Arsenal v Tottenham as Paddy Power celebrate with the announcement of a new free bets offer worth £250/€250 to all customers to spend on any game today! They’ll also reund bets should Gareth Bale score anytime! Claim here!

Neither side will be happy with their start to the campaign as they currently sit in seventh and eighth respectively, so need a victory here to move closer to the top four.

Arsenal have been far from at their best in recent weeks and Arsene Wenger was extremely disappointed with his team’s 3-3 draw at home to Fulham last time out. Wenger knows that they must tighten up at the back if they are to challenge for a Champions League spot this campaign, as their early season promise has wained.

With only two victories in their last eight games at the Emirates, things are certainly not rosy in the camp, although the return of Wojciech Szczesny between the posts after injury will be a welcome sight for the Gunners faithful.

Jack Wilshire should also feature in midfield along with Santi Cazorla as Wenger looks to keep the supply line flowing to Olivier Giroud, who looks to be finding his feet in the Premiership following his move from French side Montpellier with four in his last four.

This is the perfect chance for the Gunners to kick-start their season against and install some confidence in the camp.

As for Tottenham, it has been an inconsistent start to life under Andre Villas-Boas and they now come to the Emirates on the back of two straight defeats in the top flight – which is far from ideal.

Villas-Boas will also be frustrated by his side’s last result as they threw away a lead and lost at Manchester City on Sunday afternoon.

Spurs do have the players capable of causing a number of problems for Arsenal though and two players returning to their former employers – Emmanuel Adebayor and William Gallas will be desperate to take three points back to White Hart Lane with them.

Gareth Bale has the ability to destroy any side and could hold the key if Tottenham are to continue their impressive record of suffering only one defeat in their last five North London derbies.

Their main problem, however is at the back, with only one clean sheet all season, as their superb away win at Old Trafford becomes something of a distant memory.

Injuries to Benoit Assou-Ekotto and Mousa Dembele, who again miss out today have been key to the side’s inconsistency. The 3/1 on offer for the away victory still offers some appeal however.

It is all set to be a thrilling 90 minutes between these two bitter rivals that love to play attacking football, with kick-off at 12.45PM.
