Arsenal youngster eager to hit double figures

Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has admitted that he is desperate to hit at least ten goals this season, as he claims there is no other feeling better than scoring a goal.
The Wales captain has looked impressive in his recent performances for the Gunners, especially when Arsenal are attacking.

The young midfielder has bagged two goals so far this season – including a relieving injury time winner at Marseille; and the 20-year-old is adamant he will go on to score even more goals this campaign.

“I like to get forward and into the box,” the Welshman said. “My target is to get into double figures so hopefully I can do that this season. It’s always a nice feeling when you score a goal so yes, hopefully I can do that.”

Ramsey gave a man of the match worthy performance against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in Arsenal’s 5-3 win over the Blues, however insisted that the collective is more important than the individual.

“I go out in every game to play as well as I can and help the team get the right result,” he said. “I think everyone played their part against Chelsea.

“I think it was a massive win for us, we performed really well as a team,” he added. “We created lots of opportunities and we took a lot of them, so we can take a lot from that game.”
