Aston Villa are ready to return to Wigan Athletic for another player and this time it looks as though Alex McLeish is looking to reunite Charles N’Zogbia with frontman Hugo Rodallega.
The 26 year old Colombian has scored 22 league goals in 89 league appearances since joining the Latics in 2009 however it was only last season that he began to show his goal scoring skills. McLeish is still on the look out for a new striker and is ultimately still keen to add Peter Crouch to partner Darren Bent up front but Rodallega would also provide a good second option.
Wigan Atheltic manager Roberto Martinez would not be happy to allow yet another player depart for the midlands club though and an offer up to £8m would be required to tempt the manager into selling before trying to find suitabel replacements himself.
