Aston Villa make late move for Liverpool FC playmaker
Aston Villa are in advanced talks with Liverpool playmaker Joe Cole with the player likely to choose between the West Midlands club and French side Lille over the next few hours.
Lille made their interest known on Tuesday that they would like to have Cole onboard (Possible replacement for Hazard?) however the 29 year old looks to be holding extensive talks with Aston Villa with Liverpool having agreed an undisclosed fee for him.
Joe Cole first joined Liverpool only last summer on a free from Chelsea and has also been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur with Redknapp claiming he admires the player but gave little clue as to whether they would be planning a move.
