Two sides that will be bitterly disappointed with their campaigns so far meet at Villa Park as Aston Villa host Newcastle United in a six-pointer at the bottom of the table.

Midweek Football : Paddy Power Free Bets Offer

Its a bumper week of Premiership football with as Paddy Power celebrate with a new free bets offer worth £250/€250 to customers to spend on any game! Claim here!

These two sit in 16th and 17th respectively, with the Magpies just a point ahead of their opponents. Neither are in any form either as Villa haven’t won in six and Newcastle are without a victory in the last five.

It might be a fairly nervy 90 minutes in the Midlands and the two managers, Paul Lambert and Alan Pardew, could really be feeling the pressure if results don’t go their way. One things for sure, it will be a fascinating watch.

The Toon could just be the value at 7/4, with inspirational midfielder Yohan Cabaye returning from injury and new signing Yoan Gouffran will be eager to impress since his move from Bordeaux.

Manchester City can close the gap on Manchester United to just two points if they manage a win at Queens Park Rangers.

Harry Redknapp’s men suffered a shock 4-2 defeat at home to MK Dons in the FA Cup over the weekend, so confidence in the camp could be a bit shot. There is no time for them to dwell on that game though as the champions are coming to town and Rangers must be at their best.

Roberto Mancini’s men have won their last four in the top flight and put in a professional display at Stoke City in the cup on Saturday, so seem to be in good shape right now.

A win is expected for City here, but they have struggled on the road at times this campaign and you can be sure Redknapp will have his side up for this one.

Man City at 11/10 with a one goal handicap looks more than a good bet however.

Stoke City and Wigan Athletic also lock horns and the Potters will be looking to keep a clean sheet after their poor defensive performances in the league recently.

The home side have now lost their last three top flight encounters, so aren’t in the best of form, but should still be confident that they can beat a Wigan team that have won just once in ten Premier League matches.

However, we all know that the Latics are no strangers to springing a surprise.

The final game to look at on Tuesday sees Swansea City make the journey to Sunderland. The Black Cats have won their last two league games, whereas the Swans haven’t tasted defeat in six, so it should be an interesting battle.

The Swans could move seventh with a win and Sunderland have a chance to climb into the top half of the table, which means there is plenty to play for.

Both Miguel Michu and Steven Fletcher are in good form at the moment and whichever one of these two is more clinical on the night could be a key factor in where the points end up.

It remains to be seen whether Swansea striker Danny Graham will make an appearance as a move to Tyneside is rumoured, as the Swans could attract plenty of attention at 2/1.

It is all set for an entertaining evening on Tuesday and all the clubs in action can pile the pressure on the teams around them with a win.
