Team news
Christian Benteke could be named among the substitutes for Aston Villa, after five months out for the club.

Captain Ron Vlaar is unlikely to feature for Villa, meaning Chris Baker will continue in the heart of the back four.

Weimann and Kieran Richardson will be the closest midfielders to striker Gabriel Agbonlahor, who will look to continue his impressive start to the season.

Martin Demichelis started against Roma, however looks set to make way for Eliaquim Mangala on Saturday.

Manuel Pellegrini could give the likes of Aleksandar Kolarov, Fernandinho and James Milner starts, in a rotated team.

With Samir Nasri out for a few months, City will continue with their 4-2-2-2 formation, meaning Sergio Aguero will again feature.

Aston Villa (4-5-1): Guzan; Hutton, Senderos, Baker, Cissokho; Weimann, Delph, Cleverley, Westwood, Richardson; Agbonlahor
Manchester City (4-2-2-2): Hart; Zabaleta, Kompany, Mangala, Kolarov; Toure, Fernandinho; Milner, Silva; Dzeko, Aguero
