Athletic Bilbao host Schalke in the second-leg of their Europa League quarter-final tie on Thursday evening, with the Spanish side take a huge advantage into this tie having beat the Germans 4-2 in the first leg.
Schalke had been 2-1 ahead in the game after a brace from Raul, but Bilbao then stunned the home side with three goals in the final 17 minutes to potentially take the tie from the German side.
Bilbao have been enjoying a great season, especially in the Europa league. They upset all the odds when they knocked Manchester United out of the tournament in the last round, completely outplaying the English Champions in both legs.

The San Mamés has been a fortress in the competition this season, with Bilbao yet to be beaten there. They have also only conceded more than one goal on one occasion.
Bilbao will still play the same fast, attacking football despite coming into the game with a lead. With the Spanish side sitting comfortably in mid table in La Liga they can afford to put their all into Thursday night’s encounter.
As for the German side, they know it will be tough to go to Bilbao and score at least three goals, something no side has done in the Europa League.
