Atletico star expected in Manchester this morning
Atletico Madrid talisman, Sergio Aguero, is expected to jet in to England this morning for final talks over a move to Manchester City.
The 23 year-old is expected to complete his City switch after the two clubs agreed a club record-breaking fee of £38m.
The previous record was Robinho’s £32m move back in 2008, but boss Roberto Mancini has dubbed Aguero suitable to break such a fee, only surpassed in England by Fernando Torres.
The Argentine international was expected to be signed as a replacement for Carlos Tevez, after what seems like an inevitable departure. However, Mancini has said the club will attempt to sign Aguero even if Tevez sticks with City.
Aguero’s agent, Hernan Reguera, is expected to accompany his client to England in a move that would see the forward on around £140,000-a-week.
