Kolo Toure has resumed training with the rest of his Manchester City teammates ahead of their opening league fixture tonight.
The Ivorian international was handed a six-month suspension last season for taking a banned substance which was supposedly in a diet pill he took.
The initial ban meant that the 30 year-old couldn’t participate in matches or training, however he has received special dispensation and is now permitted to train.
The drug suspension is set to run until September 2 when Toure will be available to make his return to the Manchester City lineup.
