European giants Barcelona and Inter Milan are set to try and take apart the current Arsenal team by bidding for two of their main stars in the summer.
Whilst Barcelona’s chase for Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas is nothing new, another season without a trophy for the young Spaniard has apparently now led to the La Liga giants believing they can now snatch their man during the suring the summer transfer window.
Although a bid of around £30m was turned down towards the start of last season, the Catalan club now feel they are in a good position to make yet another bid and will sell players should they need to to reach Arsenal’s asking price of £45m.
Inter Milan meanwhile are desperate to land Samir Nasri. The young French is currently in talks with the Arsenal board regarding a new contract and whilst Wenger remains confident that the 23 year old will sign, it is believed that a bid from San Siro outfit could be enough to tempt the winger into a new challenge abroad.
Should Wenger accept any bids for the aforementioned stars then his transfer kitty will obvious rocket but the biggest question will always remain, will the Arsenal manager decide on spending some of it?
