Francesc Fabregas has put an end to a transfer saga lasting more than two years by completing his dream move back to the Nou Camp and native Barcelona.
The Catalan and Spain international penned a five-year contract with Barcelona, and will link up with compatriots such as Xavi, Andres Iniesta and Gerard Pique, as well as others.
The details of the deal are still unclear, however it is thought that the deal is worth an initial payment of £27m, however it is unknown whether this will come in the form of a lump sum or annual payments.
Arsenal potentially earn a further £5m based on how successful the 24 year-old is with the Catalan club, and it’s understood that Fabregas will also wave the £4m fee he’s due for his contract ending early, as he never officially asked for a transfer.
