It was the kind of performance that showed on their day, there is no team around that can live with the Catalan giants and they will expect more goals this weekend on home soil to Rayo Vallecano. At the moment, the home team are the huge 1/7 favourites.
Barcelona are still 13 points clear at the top of the table and just need a few more wins to secure the title, but with Real Madrid in action on Saturday, there could be a bit of pressure on the home team here.
As for Rayo Vallecano, they managed a win over Espanyol last time out and are just three points away from the Champions League, so won’t be easy for Barca to beat this weekend.
If at their best again though, then this will be a comfortable evening for the team from the Nou Camp.
Atletico Madrid are also playing on Sunday as they make the journey to Osasuna.
Atletico have taken just one point from their last two matches and that seen them move down to third position, so there is big pressure on them to take all three points this weekend. They can be backed at 6/5 to win here.
Osasuna are right back in the relegation battle after losing their last two matches, so both sides could be a bit nervous coming into this one.
If the home team can perform how they have for the majority of the season, they should come out on top and it might be a chance for them to regain some confidence after a difficult couple of weeks.
Malaga only occupy fourth spot in La Liga on goal difference right now and they host Espanyol this weekend.
These two teams are each without a win in three league matches, but it is a bigger game for Malaga as Espanyol sit eight points clear of the bottom three.
The other two matches on Sunday see Real Zaragoza make the journey to Sevilla and Granada host Levante.
Sevilla have been incredibly inconsistent this campaign and you just don’t know what sort of performance you are going to get from them, even at home to a Zaragoza side that haven’t won in ten league encounters.
It would just about sum up Sevilla’s season if the away side were to end their winless run here and they are out at 8/1 to do just that.
Granada v Levante is another battle between two clubs out of form right now, but the former are in desperate need of a win as they hover above the drop zone, whereas the latter are in tenth.
Whenever Barcelona are in action, it makes for a great day of La Liga action and this game is no exception.
