Barcelona are valued as 2/7 favourites to beat Athletic Bilbao in a clash that could have huge ramifications on the top four in La Liga.
Barcelona’s season has stuttered along in recent weeks and they will need to get a win against a Bilbao side who are pushing to fill the final Champions League spot.
After being right in the mix for much of the season, back to back losses have seen Barcelona slip four points behind league leaders Atletico Madrid with just five games left in the season.

However, they are going against an Athletic Bilbao side who are playing some of their best football in the last couple of years and have opened up a six point gap over their nearest rivals for the final Champions League spot.
Having lost just once in their last 7 games, the Basque side are looking like their former selves and will likely pose a huge threat to what is a walking wounded Barcelona side should they get the opportunity.
Athletic fans will once again put the hopes on the attacking pair of Adel Aduriz and Markel Susaeta with Aduriz having netted 15 times this season whilst Susaeta has been the mastermind behind 11 goals for Bilbao.
Bilbao fans will also have pleasant memories of what happened when the two sides met at the San Mames back in December where they became the first side to beat Barcelona this season in any competition.
With that in mind, Sunday’s clash will be a huge test for Barcelona’s character and they will need to something from their game against Athletic Bilbao to stand any chance of defending their title.
