Saturday afternoon sees Bayern Munich make the journey to Mainz in what is a battle between the sides in first and fifth respectively.
Of course, Bayern will be the favourites as they sit eleven points clear at the top of the table. They know it might be a tough game as Mainz have been impressive this season, but the league-leaders should be winning this one comfortably. You can back a win for the favourites at 4/9.
It has been tough to predict what sort of performance you are going to get from Schalke this season as at times they have been brilliant, but also have the tendency to go missing for 90 minutes.
They host bottom of the table Greuther Furth this weekend, so nothing other than all three points will be expected. The Bundesliga has produced plenty of shocks this season, but a win for the away side here would be one of the biggest so far and they are at 19/2 to win here.
Wolfsburg host Augsburg and the latter know they need to go on a very good run to get themselves out of trouble as at the moment, they are eight points adrift of safety.
A win here might be just the kind of confidence boost they need and as Wolfsburg have won just twice on home soil this season, they should be in decent spirits coming into this one.
Hoffenheim haven’t won since the start of November in the Bundesliga and they need to have a massive change in fortunes in order to get out the relegation zone.
They entertain Freiburg this weekend and know it is going to be tough to take anything from the game as the away team are on five-game unbeaten run and have the second best defensive record in the league.
Fortuna Dusseldorf and Stuttgart also lock horns on Saturday afternoon.
The late kick-off sees Eintracht Frankfurt, who currently occupy the all important fourth place in the Bundesliga, travel to Hamburger.
The hosts are in eighth, but are also just five points behind their opponents, so have a chance to boost their Champions League hopes.
These two have played some superb football this campaign, so this does look set to be a cracking 90 minutes of action.
Moving onto Sunday, two games get underway and the first of them sees Nurnberg and Borussia Monchengladbach go head-to-head.
Monchengladbach are on a fantastic run at the moment and have moved up to seventh. Another win here at a team hovering just above the drop zone is expected and if they manage that, then they could move into a European spot.
The away side can be backed at attractive odds of 9/4 to win here.
Finally, Bayer Leverkusen take on Borussia Dortmund in a match between second and third.
Both of these two are in good form right now and know they need a win to try and keep the pressure on Bayern Munich. Dortmund look to be the value in this one as well as they are at 6/5.
They are both unbeaten in their last three and with plenty at stake, this should be the perfect way to round-off the weekend’s action.
