Bayern Munich Schalke Odds : Live Stream Available from Allianz Arena as pressure mounts on Jupp Heynckes

Bayern Munich and Schalke 04 lock horns on Sunday afternoon with both teams looking for crucial points to keep their respective title bids alive, as you can watch all the action live streaming online.

As things stand, Bayern are 3rd in Bundesliga, four points adrift of league leaders Borussia Dortmund, while Schalke are one place and one point further behind.

Both teams are still in the title race, but defeat this weekend would leave the losing side with plenty to do, especially when you consider how close the top four have been all season in Germany.

Focusing on Bayern Munich to begin with, they suffered a disappointing 1-0 defeat to FC Basel in the Champions League during the week and this came on the back of a frustrating 0-0 draw at bottom of the table Freiburg last time out in the league.

Quite simply, Bayern could do with a return to winning ways this weekend. Then, they will look to push on in the remainder of the campaign. For many reasons, Sunday’s clash at home to Schalke is without doubt one of the biggest of their season.

The same applies for Schalke who have lost just one of their last eight Bundesliga games. They did endure an epic Europa League clash during the week though – they progressed past Viktoria Plzeň after extra-time on Thursday – so they may well be tired for the trip to Bayern on Sunday.

There is too much at stake for them to write this weekend off though. If they are to challenge for the title until the very end of this campaign, they need to get a positive result in Munich on Sunday.

Earlier this month, Schalke had a similar challenge to this when they travelled to face current league leaders Dortmund. On this occasion, they lost comfortably 3-0 and they will want to display their title credentials this time.

When the two teams met earlier this season, Bayern secured a 2-0 win at Schalke, so the away side would love to get revenge on their hosts.

It should be a cracking contest and it gets underway at 2.30pm.
