Bayern Munich will make Arsenal’s Nicklas Bendtner one of their top striking targets during the summer transfer window especially as the 23 year old has apparently snubbed a potential £15m move away to Blackburn Rovers.
The Arsenal striker has suggested certain unhappiness over the last six months and a move away is extremely likely at the end of the season with Bayern Munich, who look to be losing Miroslav Klose in June, the favourites to land the Danish giant.
Bendnter has not been a fans favourite since returning back from a loan spell at Birmingham in 2007 however his height up front has proved to be a weapon that other teams like Blackburn would consider useful. But with the Gunners distinct lack of width despite Walcott and Arshavin there to be used, it seems the Dane will be playing in the German Bundesliga next season.
Only a change of style can really keep Bendtner at the Emirates but with Arsenal preferring the middle of the park and the passing game rather than crossing from the wings Bendtner will feel he can score more goals elsewhere.
