The German giants were 3-1 winners in North London three weeks ago and many believe they have all but secured their place in the final eight of the Champions League.
Arsenal come here with the belief they can turn this tie around though, but also know it is going to take their best performance of the season and Bayern being off the pace in order for them to qualify.
Arsene Wenger has been dealt a big blow as well with Jack Wilshere out for three weeks, which means he of course misses this game. Wilshere was the only player to really perform in the first leg and is the man that makes the Gunners tick right now, so without him, they are really going to struggle.
Lukas Podolski is also set the miss the game, so the Premier League outfit are going to have a massive task on their hands here. In truth, qualifying might be out of the question as they are at 25/1, but they are capable of winning the match and do look good value at 15/2.
Arsenal never got going in the first leg and were 2-0 down early on, so they cannot afford to make the same mistakes here and must start quickly.
Wenger’s men are the only English side left in the Champions League and unless they cause one of the upsets of the season, there isn’t going to be a Premier League side in the final eight of the tournament for the first time in over 15 years.
As for Bayern Munich, they come into this one in excellent form as they have won their last eleven competitive matches and are a massive 20 points clear at the top of the Bundesliga.
There is still a job to do for Josef Heynckes’ men and he has already admitted that Arsenal are a side capable of coming here and winning on the night if his team are not at the races on Wednesday.
With the experience of players such as Bastian Schweinsteiger in the middle of the park though, Bayern should sail through to the final eight and are at 5/12 to win on the night, so the bookmakers clearly think they are going to come out on top.
Going forward, both Mario Mandzukic and Mario Gomez are at 7/2 to break the deadlock and with the form they are both in right now, any chance is likely to be put in the back of the net.
There is of course still plenty to play for, despite the odds being stacked against Arsenal and with the Gunners having no choice but to attack right from the off, we should see plenty of goals at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday night.
