El Hadji Diouf has slated Blackburn manager, Steve Kean, for freezing him out of the club and not permitting him with the first team.
The midfielder is bemused at the exile he faces given Blackburn’s current predicament. He feels his skills are being wasted as Blackburn suffer, losing their first two Premier League against Wolves and Aston Villa.
Diouf said: “A lot of things have gone – that spirit we had to win the game for the fans, for the manager and for ourselves.”
He went on to add: “I don’t want to see them relegated. But I know it’s going to be hard. I was one of the biggest players at the club. Then it all changed under the new manager.”
Diouf also caused controversy o the international scene not so long ago, failing to appear before a committee following a string of comments regarding the way African football is run.
Kean has told Diouf he will never play for the club again.
