Blackburn on verge of swoop for European duo
Blackburn Rovers are close to making their fifth and sixth signings of the summer, with Simon Vukcevic and Vedad Ibisevic both on their way to Ewood Park.
Ibisevic is a striker currently playing for German side, Hoffenheim, while Vukcevic is an attacking midfielder at Sporting Lisbon.
Rovers have lost both of their opening Premier League fixtures, but will be hoping the duo will provide enough extra firepower to turn their luck around.
Manager Steve Kean noted: “I’m allowed to go and invest in the team and that’s exactly what I’ll do.”
