Blackburn owners reassure fans they are striving to improve squad
Blackburn owner, Venk’y Group, claim that they are working hard to invest in the club and that fans should not be afraid for the coming season.
The Indian owners have been far from active in this summer transfer window, only making any considerable moves in the past two weeks.
Venketash Rao, co-owner in the company, says that they are ready to spend and help manager Steve Kean succeed.
Speaking to the Lancashire Telegraph, Rao noted: “There has been wrong information and it looks really bad but we are financially very strong. The only issue is we want to spend very carefully.”
He went on to add: “We need to improve in some places and I am sure we are bringing in some players and we are working hard on that. Please do not be disappointed. We are very positive we will improve results.”
