Blackburn Rovers line up Serbian international
Partizan Belgrade have confirmed that they are in talks with Blackburn Rovers regarding the sale of midfielder Radosav Petrovic.
22 year-old Petrovic has not travelled to Belgium with the rest of his teammates for a UEFA Champions League qualifier, signalling that a move away could be imminent.
Mladen Krstajic, Partizan’s director of sport, confirmed that the two clubs were negotiating but that no deal has been reached: “I can confirm that we’re in the middle of talks with Blackburn for Petrovic,”
However, the director is wary that talking is as far as the deal has gotten so far, adding: “For now there’s nothing official, only that we’re in talks. A transfer has not been finalised.”
